Dr. Vikram Shetty

Has completed his MBBS and DNB along with MDS in Maxillofacial Surgery to acquire superior specialization combined with advanced practical expertise at an international level. One amongst the only 5 Dually qualified Cranio-facial surgeons across India. Dr. Vikram Shetty is a dually qualified Maxillofacial Surgeon and is currently the Director of the Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Craniofacial Surgery. He has undergone extensive neurosurgical training and is now one of the few surgeons in India operating on complex craniofacial deformities.

Dr. Vikram Shetty personally performs around 900 to 1000 complex facial surgeries every year. As part of the Medical Sciences Section, he is also the Director of the Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship Program of the Medical College and is in charge of training postgraduate students in Maxillofacial Surgery.
